Overview
This small-group inflatable from Albufeira is the most-reviewed Benagil trip we list, and it does two things at once: the famous cave, and the Algarve’s best dolphin-watching water. Capped at eighteen guests, the fast boat gets closer to the cliffs than the big catamarans and reaches the open sea offshore, where common and bottlenose dolphins feed.
Heading west from the marina, the skipper runs the coastline to the Algar de Benagil, holding at the cave mouth — and slipping inside when the swell allows — so you can photograph the skylight from the water.
